The fiberizer, also known as the spinning machine, is the core equipment of the rock wool production line, responsible for converting molten rock into fine mineral fibers. According to production capacity and product requirements, different fiberizing solutions can be applied, including conventional spinning machines, high-performance aerodynamic spinning machines, and double spinning machines.
The conventional spinning machine uses 2 to 4 spinning discs driven by belt transmission, making it suitable for small to medium production capacities. It features stable operation, simple structure, easy maintenance, and low operating cost.
The high-performance aerodynamic spinning machine is designed for high output and superior fiber quality. With optimized airflow design and inline motor arrangement, it ensures uniform fiber distribution, reduced turbulence, and the production of long, fine, and elastic fibers. This solution supports higher capacities and enables the manufacture of ultra-light rock wool products with very low density.
For large-scale production, the double spinning machine configuration operates two fiberizers in parallel, allowing the molten material to be fiberized simultaneously and collected in a single forming chamber. This design ensures high efficiency, stable operation, and is ideal for high-capacity rock wool production lines.
